it was AMAZING. there were like 20 people there but it was great anyway.

First he got on stage and he said that it was his first show and that he had never played without a band and that he MISSED THE BAND and we were all AWW and he said I WASN’T LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY and then someone said something else and he said THEY’LL BE BACK.

He played ALONE by himself and then his brother Mike, Cassie, Cassie’s brother Chris (a hottie) and Andy Soukal got on stage and played a few songs with him.

Then he played A NEW SONG. I don’t remember the name but it said something like IM SORRY IF I LET YOU DOWN.

And he said he WROTE THAT SONG… AFTER HE QUIT ‘A’ BAND.

That song was awesome.

He finished up with Growing a beard and then we left the studio and waited in the lounge or whatever it was.

He came out and started talking with a few fans so I waited for about ten minutes with this girl I met there.

First he hugged me (omg) and thanked us for coming and he told me he SAW ME CRYING WHEN HE SANG HIS NEW SONG AND THAT IT MADE HIM ALL TEARY EYED.

We asked him about his plans for the future and he said he wants to release a solo record, but he doesn’t know because THERE MIGHT BE A NEW THE YOUNG VEINS IN THE NEXT YEAR.

So I asked him if it is not done then, because SOMEONE TOLD ME YOU WERE DONE WITH TYV…

And he said RYAN AND I ENDED ON REALLY GOOD TERMS, WE WERE JUST NOT GOING THE SAME WAY MUSICALLY AT THAT MOMENT, BUT IT DOESN’T MEAN WE WON’T GO BACK, WE’LL SEE.

Then the girl said something about going DIFFERENT WAYS MUSICALLY and how it seems to happen to him often.

So I said something about his new song and he said it was about Panic but he didn’t really want to say PANIC so we were like IT’S NOT TABOO, YOU CAN SAY IT.

So he said that yeah, it was about the time he left Panic.

And the girl asked if the IM SORRY IF I LET YOU DOWN was to the fans or the guys and he said BOTH.

And he said that he felt REALLY BAD about that because it was like he got in the band and FUCKED EVERYTHING UP.

And I was like DON’T SAY THAT and told him how Pretty. Odd. was my favorite record, and how he was amazing and I basically complimented him a lot but he was like

NO, REALLY, I FEEL BAD BECAUSE THEY LET ME INTO THEIR BAND AND AFTER EVERYTHING THAT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE…

So then we talked about irrelevant things like me coming to Chicago, places to have good Chicago style pizza and of he is or is not a fan of Top Chef.

Then I told him IM SORRY, I KNOW EVERYONE PROBABLY ASKS YOU THIS AND ALL BUT I HAVE TO ASK. ARE YOU REALLY IN GOOS TERMS WITH BRENDON AND SPENCER?

And he said

YES, I AM. I THINK PEOPLE UNDERESTIMATE THE DEPTH OF OUR FRIENDSHIP. WE’RE BEST FRIENDS. I ACTUALLY SAW THEM LAST WEEK. THERE WAS A TIME THAT WE DIDN’T TALK AND RYAN AND I HAD WRITTEN SOME STUFF AND WHEN WE SHARED IT IT DIDN’T WORK OUT BUT WE ARE REALLY GOOD FRIENDS, WE JUST DON’T SEE EACH OTHER THAT MUCH BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY BUSY.

After that I just wanted to hug him forever.

We talked a little more about the show and Chicago and then we took pictures and I said

I KNOW YOU ARE NOT IN PANIC AND IT PROBABLY DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING BUT I WANT TO SHOW YOU THIS

and I showed him my tattoo (the REINVENT LOVE one, not the exclamation mark)

And he said

IT DOES. IT DOES MEAN SOMETHING . THAT WAS AN ERA, AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I HAD THE BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE. IT WAS AMAZING, WORKING WITH THOSE GUYS. AND YOU KNOW, MAYBE IF THE NEW ALBUM, WHAT’S IT CALLED?

So I said VICES AND VIRTUES

and I said MAYBE IF THAT STYLE DOESN’T STICK, I’LL WORK WITH THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. IF THEY STILL WANT ME.

So I had a little freak out moment and I said I hoped so, and he thanked us for coming and I went to talk to my friend, because the bitch doesn’t like Jon so she was just sitting there with Jon’s brother (lol) watching TV.

Then I realized I FORGOT TO ASK FOR AN AUTOGRAPH so I went back to him and while I waited for him to finish with some other fans, MY FRIEND PUSHED ME AND I FELL AD DROPPED A SURF BOARD ALMOST ON HIM, causing everyone to look/laugh at me and Jon noticing me.

While I waited for him Cassie came to me and we started talking about Chicago and my trip and she was SUPER NICE and I congratulated her on their marriage and she said IT WAS REALLY EXCITING and looked really happy.

Then I congratulated Jon and he smiled and thanked me and said I KNOW IT’S REALLY OLD FASHIONED, BUT I LIKE HER, SO…

They looked SO in love. During the show they kept looking at each other and it was really really cute.

Then we talked about religion and weird things and he said he doesn’t shower every day and that Growing a beard is a metaphor for growing up and also not a metaphor because he HAS A BEARD.

We just hung out for a little and talked about random shit and then Cassie brought some stickers and said t they had a lot left so I said

I’LL TAKE A BUNCH AND MAIL THEM OUT. I’M THE FIRST MEMBER OF THE JON WALKER STREET TEAM.

He was super excited about it and he was all HIGH FIVE and thanked me and we talked a little more, said goodbye and left.

HE WAS SO DOWN TO EARTH AND SO NICE I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT. SERIOUSLY IT WAS AMAZING.

And he looked SOOO hot. And sounded great. Overall it was an incredible experience.

Cassie said that we should be excited about the interview that’s coming out with the show because that was great. SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT!!

I think I have to wait until Sunday to post the videos because tumblr doesn’t accept the format or something from my iPod and I didn’t bring my computer, but I’ll try to do that asap.

Anyway, I think that’s it :) If I forgot something I’ll post it later.
